Many have asked what LOAH means and if its my name. LOAH stands for Light on a Hill leather, a name deeply rooted in biblical principle and purpose.
The inspiration comes from Matthew 5:14-16, a passage that speaks to the heart of what we believe our business should represent:
14 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
This passage carries profound meaning. It speaks to visibility, purpose, and the responsibility we have to let our values shine openly rather than hide them away. A light on a hill is impossible to miss, it serves everyone around it without reservation. That's the principle we've built this company upon.
We chose this name because we didn't want to create something meaningless.
